Haley Matthes

Haley R. Matthes specializes in general liability actions, including personal injury and property damage cases, premises liability and construction defect claims, contract disputes, and fine art and specie matters. Her work involves all phases of litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting litigation-related documents, pleadings and pretrial motions, managing investigations and discovery, and assisting with and attending depositions, hearings and other judicial proceedings.

Haley joined WCM as a law clerk and has been with the Philadelphia office since her second year of law school. During law school, Haley also clerked with the Honorable Paula A. Roscioli in Northampton County Court of Common Pleas, and served on the executive board of Delaware Law’s Phi Alpha Delta George Read Chapter for two years.

While she was an undergraduate, Haley worked as a government affairs intern for Attorney General Joshua Shapiro, studied abroad in London while working for a member of Parliament, and was a legislative foreign affairs and national security intern for U.S. Senator Robert Casey Jr. in Washington D.C. She also played Division I tennis for Lafayette College and served as the captain of the team her junior and senior years.
