Professional Experience
Thomas Decker is a skilled litigator with four decades of courtroom experience trying cases and arguing appeals in New Jersey state and federal courts. Thomas handles a variety of complex civil litigation, including lawsuits involving construction site accidents, general liability claims, product liability, and motor vehicle accidents, on behalf of public and private companies, insurance carriers, and industry and trade organizations. He has litigated numerous cases involving insurance coverage issues arising out of motor vehicle leasing, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of New Jersey as amicus counsel for the Truck Renting and Leasing Association and the Vehicle Renting and Leasing Industry Council. Thomas also defends individuals and businesses in professional liability cases, and represents physicians before the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners.
Thomas lectures on professional liability issues, including to New Jersey and Pennsylvania medical societies. He previously served as an adjunct professor on product liability law for the Seton Hall University MBA program.
